The Heart and Soul of any guitar is the neck.

It’s the first thing you feel when picking up the instrument, and the most consistent point of contact while playing it. The neck shape dictates the entire character of an instrument. It is for these reasons it’s imperative that the neck be stable, accurate and comfortable.

We take great care in the selection, preparation and execution of the materials and workmanship in all of our necks.

Our goal to create the most perfectly accurate but “played in“ feeling necks available. We utilize CNC technology to ensure accuracy in all the critical locations. However, the final shaping to the playing surface of the neck is hand carved using old school methods and tools. This is the only way to ensure each Bluesman Vintage neck meets our exacting standards.

Bluesman Vintage guitar and bass necks are also available with a variety of woods, shapes, Frets, and profiles.

Four string bass necks come standard with a 10” Hybrid fretboard radius with blind fret slots, heel adjust dual action truss rod, and carbon fiber reinforcement rods.

They come in your choice of three different nut widths, and are also available in three different thickness profiles.

1.5” (1 1/2”) Narrow width (J-style) neck

Available in Standard, Chunky, and Fatback thickness profiles.

1.625” (1 5/8”) Modern P-Style neck 1/8” wider than “J” neck

Available in Standard, Chunky, and Fatback thickness profiles.

1.75” (1 3/4”) wide “57 P-Style neck

Available in Standard, Chunky, and Fatback thickness profiles.
